Scrappy Trip

The Circle (Bubble) Quilt is finished and off to be long arm quilted by Sister Beth.
I was not able to get a picture of it before it left, so we'll have to wait for it's return for the photoshoot.  And I still need to decide on a name.
I love how it turned out!

Not so with Mrs. Scrappy Trip.  I think there are too many different fabrics or not enough contrast or too much contrast or just ugly fabric! My eyes hurt when I look at this!  I am trying to get through my UFO's so I think I'll do four more blocks and call this puppy DONE!

Linking up to Scraptastic Tuesday at She can quilt.

  1. Hahaha! I love it, it's got a true scrappy feel to it :) I know how annoying it is though when your eye is just drawn to the most ugly fabric you can find in the composition - even if it's so tiny no-one else would ever know it's there! Keep going though, it really is lovely :)

  2. Your scrappy trip works for me! Great way to dump a lot of old fabrics you no longer like so much and still make a pretty quilt ! l

  3. I like your Scrappy Trip! That pattern is on my bucket list. I think it would be a great quilt for kids going off to college. No one would be able to tell if it got dirty!

  4. Looks great to me. I think once it's bordered, quilted, and bound you will change your mind. Those things will all help tie it together. Love the scrappiness!!
