I was not able to get a picture of it before it left, so we'll have to wait for it's return for the photoshoot. And I still need to decide on a name.
I love how it turned out!
Not so with Mrs. Scrappy Trip. I think there are too many different fabrics or not enough contrast or too much contrast or just ugly fabric! My eyes hurt when I look at this! I am trying to get through my UFO's so I think I'll do four more blocks and call this puppy DONE!
Hahaha! I love it, it's got a true scrappy feel to it :) I know how annoying it is though when your eye is just drawn to the most ugly fabric you can find in the composition - even if it's so tiny no-one else would ever know it's there! Keep going though, it really is lovely :)
ReplyDeleteYour scrappy trip works for me! Great way to dump a lot of old fabrics you no longer like so much and still make a pretty quilt ! l
ReplyDeleteI like your Scrappy Trip! That pattern is on my bucket list. I think it would be a great quilt for kids going off to college. No one would be able to tell if it got dirty!
ReplyDeleteLooks great to me. I think once it's bordered, quilted, and bound you will change your mind. Those things will all help tie it together. Love the scrappiness!!
ReplyDeleteI think this is one of the prettiest Scrappy Trips I've seen. Great value range and placement.
